Mass Tank
Carl is the CEO of the largest steel tank manufacturer in New England. Mass Tank distributes tanks to Africa, Asia and North America for the fuel, water, confectionary and pharmaceutical industries.
In October of 2012, Carl started a tank testing company to leverage the manufacturing company’s customer base and their 100+ years of experience. Mass Tank Inspection Services works around the country inspecting tanks and piping to UL, ASME, AWWA, NFPA, STI and local regulations. Additionally, Mass Tank services tanks in the field for repair, refurbishment or modifications.
Horstmann is a certified Underground Storage Tank Class A/B Operator along with Top-Secret Security clearance.
Mass Tank is a service-disabled veteran owned small business.
Prior to owning Mass Tank, Horstmann worked at Republic National Bank of New York where he spent time in New York, Tokyo and Milan.
Horstmann is a member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and attended West Point before graduating from Lehigh University in 1986.
