CEO and Founder SpadXTech Dr. Gonzalez holds a bachelor's degree in Physics and Chemistry from Hunter College and master's and PhD degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. She spent a few years as a postdoctoral researcher at MIT in the Biological Engineering Department, focusing on genetic circuits and 3D printing. After her postdoctoral fellowship, Dr. Gonzalez found herself at a crossroads between continuing in academia and pursuing entrepreneurship. She initially continued in academia as a Lecturer at UMass Lowell in the Mechanical Engineering department but eventually ventured into entrepreneurship by founding SpadXTech.
