Annemarie Abdo

Annemarie Abdo is an accomplished human resources executive with over 25 years of experience in HR management, specializing in both strategic and tactical HR functions. Annemarie currently serves as the Vice President of Human Resources at Catania Oils, where she has been a key leader since 2016, initially joining as the Director of Human Resources. During her tenure at Catania Oils, she has driven HR strategies that contribute to operational efficiencies and employee morale within the company.

Before joining Catania Oils, she was the Director of Human Resources at Nasoya Foods USA and Vitasoy USA Inc., where she managed HR functions for a global manufacturing facility. Her experience at Vitasoy included recruitment, performance management, benefits administration and leading HR teams, contributing to significant cost reductions and employee wellness improvements.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management with a focus on Human Resource Management from Southern New Hampshire University and a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management and Organizational Strategy from Walden University. Additionally, she is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) certified by HRCI and serves on the Board of Directors for the Associated Industries of Massachusetts and the North Central Workforce.
